Women’s Studies is an interdisciplinary programme with a critical focus on social, cultural, economic, and political issues from the perspective of gender. Drawing on a substantial body of scholarship that challenges many of the assumptions and methods of traditional academic disciplines, Women’s Studies creates new perspectives from which all students may analyze such issues as work, health, sexuality, violence, family, race, class and ethnicity.
