Residence (Student Housing)
Over 90% of our first-year students and over half of all Mount Allison students choose to live in residence. Living on campus and being part of a dynamic academic and social network has a lot of advantages:
- It's easier to form study groups and stay on top of your academic assignments.
- Friendships are formed during your first week that often last throughout your time at Mount A - and beyond.
- Movie nights, house parties, intramural sports, and other events take place regularly.
- In your down time, it's easy to find people to hang out with and relax.
- All residences are fully furnished, have phone and internet (wired and wireless) access, and come with a convenient meal plan in our excellent, award-winning dining hall. You may request either a single room (many first-year students do get one), or share with a roommate who is matched with you based on mutual interests.
- All residences are co-ed, with either designated male and female wings or room-to-room.
