Where is Mount Allison University?
We're located in the heart (the very centre) of Canada's eastern Maritime provinces, in Sackville, New Bruswick. We're a small town with a small university, and Mount A's residential campus offers all of the perks and advantages of a close-knit community while being within a 200 km radius of the region's largest cities.
We're on a hill; hence our name, Mount Allison. From campus, you can look out over the Bay of Fundy (where you will see the highest tides in the world) and the lush natural environment of the Tantramar Marshes.
How many students attend Mount Allison University?

Facilities include a gymnasium, swimming pool, two fitness centres, two tennis courts, four playing fields, and a recreational track. Ice programs are offered through Sackville's Civic Centre.
Does Mount Allison have other activities like clubs or societies?
Do we? Yes we do! In fact, student involvement is one of the biggest parts of the Mount Allison Experience. Students here are very often active and participate extracurricularly. We have over 140 clubs and societies in place. Some have been here since before any of us can remember, and others tend to change from year to year as new students arrive with new interests. Ask any of our admissions counsellors (who are all Mount A grads) and current students and they will tell you how easy it is to form a club or society of your own.
Can I visit Mount Allison?
Yes, and we would love it if you did. Our Campus Visit program is extremely active, and our Campus Liaison Office always looks forward to hearing from you.
