My name is Patrick, I am a 2nd year student at Mount Allison, and I hope to be able to answer your question.

So, from what I understand, you’re hoping to gain admission to our Bachelor of Science program? I did notice that you’d mentioned a B. Tech, and Engineering. I don’t understand what you mean by assumption of 1st year of engineering. Mount A doesn’t have a B. Tech program or an Engineering department. I do know that entrance requirements, and standards are different for Engineering programs in Canada than in India, but there are some amazing Engineering programs in Canada. Unfortunately Mount Allison does not have an Engineering program. If you’re interested in Sciences though, feel free to send me an email with any questions about entrance requirements and such. I’d ask that you email our director of international Admission, Charlie Hunter. He has much more experience with Indian qualifications and will be able to tell you much more about what you may qualify for. His email is chunter@mta.ca
